GETTING TO ASPEN

 

DRIVING TO ASPEN FROM CALIFORNIA

If you choose to take the scenic route into Aspen plan for about 13 hours of driving time from Orange County. Follow the I-15N and I-70E to CO 82-E in Glenwood Springs. If you are doing the drive over two days, Richfield is a good stopping point. 

 

FLYING TO ASPEN/PITKIN COUNTY AIRPORT (ASE)

The best option in regards to convenience is flying directly into Aspen. There are direct flights into the Aspen airport on United and American Airlines from several major cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Dallas. The airport is located about 4 miles from the city of Aspen. If you are staying at The Gant, they offer complimentary airport shuttles. 

 

FLYING TO DENVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (DIA)

The largest and most active airport in the Rocky Mountain region is located 220 miles from Aspen/Snowmass. But keep in mind that DIA is approximately 4 hours from Aspen by car so you will need to either rent a car or book a shuttle. You can book a shuttle from DIA to Aspen through Colorado Mountain Express


TRANSPORTATION IN TOWN

Aspen is a very pedestrian friendly town and you will most likely not need a car for the weekend. The Gant, and some other hotels, provide complimentary transportation within Aspen and there is a free bus system for the Aspen/Snowmass area.

 

RENTAL CAR SERVICES

You will not need a rental car in Aspen to get to any of the events for the wedding but most major car rental companies are available at the Aspen and Denver airports.
